Kab. Ogan Ilir – Pengurus Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Kabupaten Ogan Ilir periode 2026–2029 yang dipimpin Ketua terpilih Heri Kusnadi melakukan audiensi dengan Bupati Ogan Ilir, Panca Wijaya Akbar, di Ruang Rapat Bupati, Komplek Perkantoran Terpadu Tanjung Senai, Indralaya, Selasa (14/7/2026).
Audiensi tersebut bertujuan mempererat silaturahmi sekaligus meningkatkan kolaborasi antara PWI Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Ogan Ilir dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah melalui kemitraan yang baik antara pemerintah dan insan pers.
Rombongan PWI diterima langsung oleh Bupati Panca Wijaya Akbar yang didampingi Kepala Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol), perwakilan Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo), Staf Khusus Bupati Iklim Cahya, serta Weni. Pertemuan berlangsung dalam suasana hangat dan penuh keakraban.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Heri Kusnadi menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, khususnya Bupati Panca Wijaya Akbar, atas dukungan yang telah diberikan terhadap berbagai kegiatan PWI pada kepengurusan sebelumnya.
“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih dan apresiasi kepada Bapak Bupati beserta jajaran yang selama ini telah mendukung berbagai kegiatan PWI. Kami berharap dukungan tersebut dapat terus berlanjut, bahkan semakin ditingkatkan pada kepengurusan yang baru,” ujar Heri.
Selain itu, Heri berharap komunikasi antara organisasi perangkat daerah (OPD) dengan insan pers di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir semakin baik sehingga berbagai informasi dapat tersampaikan secara akurat dan berimbang.
“Ke depan kami berharap komunikasi antara OPD dan insan pers semakin terbuka. Dengan demikian, apabila terdapat pemberitaan yang berkaitan dengan instansi pemerintah, dapat dikomunikasikan secara langsung. Kami juga berharap pelantikan pengurus PWI serta agenda-agenda organisasi ke depan mendapat dukungan dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Ogan Ilir,” katanya.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Bupati Ogan Ilir, Panca Wijaya Akbar menyatakan komitmen pemerintah daerah untuk terus mendukung kegiatan PWI sebagai mitra strategis dalam penyebarluasan informasi pembangunan.
“Pada prinsipnya pemerintah daerah siap mendukung kegiatan PWI di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Terkait usulan peningkatan anggaran publikasi, saya meminta Kominfo segera menyusun dan mengajukannya dalam APBD Perubahan,” ujar Panca.
Bupati juga menyatakan kesiapannya mendukung pelaksanaan pelantikan pengurus PWI Kabupaten Ogan Ilir periode 2026–2029, termasuk penyediaan fasilitas yang diperlukan.
“Saya siap hadir pada acara pelantikan. Saya juga berpesan kepada ketua terpilih agar dapat mengakomodasi seluruh insan pers, baik media cetak, media online, televisi maupun yang tergabung dalam organisasi profesi lainnya. Dengan kebersamaan, kita dapat bergandengan tangan membangun Kabupaten Ogan Ilir,” tutur Panca.
